Read all Dyson DC25 Manual instructions before using this Dyson DC25 vacuum cleaner. When using an electrical appliance, always follow basic precautions, including the following: This machine is intended for household use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands. Do not use the cable or plug damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Dyson Ltd, our agent service or qualified individuals in a similar manner to avoid a hazard. If cleaner does not work properly, has been dropped, damaged, has been left outdoors or immersed in a liquid, do not use. Please contact the Dyson Helpline. Do not use the cleaner if the parts appear to be faulty, missing or damaged. Make sure that all parts, including the transparent tray, are securely attached before use or carrying the machine. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Do not leave the appliance when it is plugged in. Disconnect the outlet when it is not in use and before performing maintenance of the user, connect or disconnect the hose or changing accessories. If the machine overheats, it will cut. If this occurs, you must disconnect, disconnect and let cool down before attempting to check filters or block them. Store the machine indoors. Put vacuum away after use with the cable winding safely, to prevent tripping hazards. Turn off all controls before unplugging. Do not unplug by pulling the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord. Do not pull or transport by cable, use cable as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not operate the appliance cable. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. The use of an extension cord is not recommended. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts, such as the brush. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.

Take extra care when vacuuming stairs; Do not work with the vacuum cleaner above you on the stairs. Keep the vacuum cleaner on the floor. Do not place cleaner on chairs, tables, etc. Do not shake the machine or press the cyclone release button while carrying the machine. Not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes. Check that your electricity supply matches that indicated on the rating plate. The vacuum cleaner should only be used as rated. Use only as described in this manual. Use only Dyson recommended attachments. Do not use without the clear tray and filters in place. Do not lubricate any parts, or carry out maintenance and repair work that is not indicated in this manual, or as indicated by the Dyson helpline.
